Semi- Intensive English Program
The Semi- Intensive English Program at Northern Kentucky University offers a part time course of study to develop skills and confidence in English. Designed for busy adults, the program focuses on preparing you to live and work in an English speaking environment. Courses emphasize speaking and listening fluency, vocabulary, accuracy, and intelligibility. Classes will be held half days, Monday - Friday and students should expect to be in class 15 hours a week.
The small class sizes allow for flexibility and individualization to respond to student interest and particular needs. In addition to class work, students have access to a multimedia language laboratory and tutoring at no extra charge. Students receive a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of each session.
*Students studying on a student visa (F-1, J-1) are note eligible for this program because it is not a full time program. Please consider our Intensive English Program.
