Founded in 1968, Northern Kentucky University is a public university with over 14,000 enrolled students. The diverse campus community includes students from over 41 states and 90 countries. NKU offers a vibrant campus that is located in a safe and comfortable suburban environment. The university is located in Highland Heights, Kentucky, just eleven kilometers south of Cincinnati, Ohio.
