American English Language Programs

* The next session begins January 12, 2008.


How Do I Apply?

U.S. Citizens wishing to study in the Intensive English Program or the Semi- Intensive English Program* should complete the following:

  1. Application fee* of $150.00 (USD) payable to NKU by check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard.
  2. Application to American English Language Program 

Students who will be studying on a student visa (F-1) should complete the following:

  1. Application to American English Language Program
  2. Original (no photocopies or faxes) Declaration of Finances Certificate
  3. Two passport size photographs
  4. Application fee* of $150.00 (USD) payable to NKU by check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard.**
  5. Proof of an intermediate level of English Proficiency
* Students studying on a student visa (F-1, J-1) are not eligible to study in the Semi- Intensive English Program because they must be studying full time.

Conditional Admissions
Students interested in applying to the university for conditional admission should follow the application instructions found here. You can only be accepted conditionally if you meet all other admission requirements.
